Most people up here have had the carpet cleaned before, by somebody, and the memory is usually the same: it looked good for two weeks and then the walking lanes came back darker than they started. That is not bad luck. A soapy wet clean pushes soil down toward the backing and leaves a sticky film in the pile, and the film pulls the next month's dirt in faster than a clean fiber would.
Ours goes the other way. Our low-moisture carpet cleaning lifts the soil up and out of the fiber, leaves nothing behind to attract more, and puts far less water into the pile than a wet clean does. The carpet then stays cleaner about three times longer.

Aubry Fairfax Folts laid out Stuart Heights for the Chattanooga Estates Company, planning each street and designing each lot himself, and then used his own family for the street signs. Folts Drive and Folts Circle are him. Lockwood and Lawson come from his wife. Stuart came from his daughter.
