From downtown Chattanooga it is roughly sixteen road miles and twenty-five minutes: TN-153, then Hixson Pike north through Middle Valley. Hixson Pike carries SR 319 on a map, and it crosses your city line 3.3 miles after it leaves Middle Valley, right where the road runs out onto the water.
