One calendar covers all 29 towns on the route, the Tennessee side and the Georgia side alike. A Ringgold address down I-75 picks its slot the same way an address four blocks from the Walnut Street Bridge does.

The zip box comes first for a reason: it tells you straight away whether we reach you. While you are in there, put area rugs or upholstery on the same ticket, because one trip beats two. Our technician reads the care tag before anything starts, so a sofa coded S or X gets the solvent-safe pass its fabric calls for, and a wool rug is cleaned on your own floor rather than hauled off. How should I get the house ready?

Less than you would think. Pick the small things up off the carpet: toys, cords, laundry, the dog's bowl. Our technician shifts the light pieces, cleans underneath, and works around beds and the big units. Nervous pets are happiest behind a closed door while we are in the house. A quick vacuum beforehand is welcome, never required.

What happens once I have booked?

A confirmation comes back with your day and arrival time. On the day, our technician arrives when we said, walks each room with you and writes the total down before anything starts. Approve it and the work begins. Want a sofa or another room on the ticket? Call or text 423-284-0493 and it goes on.

Can I move my appointment?

Yes. Call or text 423-284-0493 and we find another time. A sick child, a landlord who shifts the walkthrough, a delivery running late: it happens. The earlier you tell us, the easier it is, because your old slot can go to someone waiting on it. We would sooner move you twice than lose you once.

Which clock are the arrival times on?

Chattanooga's. Every slot on the calendar runs on Chattanooga time, which is the clock almost the whole service area keeps, on both sides of the Georgia line. The exception is the far west end: Jasper, Kimball, South Pittsburg, Whitwell and Dunlap sit an hour behind us. If you are out that way, an 8:00 booking means 7:00 by the clock on your kitchen wall. What if the day I want has nothing open?

Take the nearest time that works and put the day you actually wanted in the notes box, or call 423-284-0493 and say it out loud. The office holds the whole week's board, so a job can often shift a day either direction once a cancellation opens something up.

Do I pay anything to hold the time?

Nothing. No card, no deposit, no charge for putting a day on the calendar. You pay after the cleaning, on the price you approved in writing at your door. Every visit starts at $99, so that is the figure for one small rug on its own no matter how it was booked.
