Carpet cleaning in Mountain Creek, where the apartments outnumber the houses
Mountain Creek is the one road in this city where small apartment buildings outnumber the houses with a yard on either side. The carpet runs the whole plan in these units, closet floors included, and a two-bedroom up an outside stair takes traffic again about an hour after the crew carries the gear back down.

What the road is made of
Close neighbors, thin walls, and what that asks of a clean
Mountain Creek Road runs the length of a trough between Stringer's Ridge and the foot of Walden's Ridge, and the homes along it are stacked close together. Small multi-family buildings of a few units apiece outnumber the houses with a yard, which is rare anywhere else in this county and changes what the job has to do.
Neighbours through a wall raise the stakes. Odor travels, a shared landing has to stay clear while we work, and nothing harsh can be left behind in a fiber somebody's toddler will be sitting on by dinnertime. What goes down here is mild stuff, and not a great deal of it.
Whoever knocks works for us, and the fiber and the care label get read before a machine is plugged in. On a road where one manager may hand over three units in a weekend, that is what makes the result at the last door match the result at the first.
What these plans ask for
Carpet in every room, closet floors included

Wall to wall was simply what builders did along this road, and a great many of these plans have never been changed since. The carpet runs down the hall, into the bedrooms and across the closet floors behind the doors, so the soft flooring is the whole unit.
A living room, a hall, two bedrooms and their closets add up to four rooms and a hall. We count carpeted rooms, so that is the number to have ready when you call. Every one of them gets the same pass, and nothing is skipped for being small or sitting behind a door.
Ceiling heights in these buildings are low, so air sits still over the floor and anything left wet stays wet, with the smell arriving two days later. We work with so little liquid that the pile comes up damp to the back of a hand. The method is written up on our low-moisture carpet cleaning page.
From our technicians' phones
The difference, side by side
No stock images and nothing staged for a camera. Our crews photograph what they walk into and what they leave behind, and the owner picked these out of everything the company holds. They were taken on jobs across the markets we serve, and the same process was run over every one of them.

How people place the address
The road ends at the bottom of the W
Everybody living along here can see the W coming down off Walden's Ridge, and it is what directions get built around. It was cut through the gap in the 1890s and rebuilt with its stone walls in the 1920s. The listed section sits at the top, inside Walden. Our end is the bottom.

When the work actually happens
The month end, not the spring
Most of the doors along here are rented, so bookings follow leases, and leases bunch into the last week of the month. The caller is usually a manager with two or three units and one weekend to move all of them through.
The buildings themselves step up a hillside. Parking sits below the door, the way in is an outside concrete stair, and there is no tap to borrow at the top of those steps, so everything we need goes up by hand in one trip.
Call 423-284-0493 with the unit count and we will hold the run of appointments together. If it is easier, send a photo of the worst room by text to the same number and we will price it from that. What a turn covers is set out on our page about cleaning a unit between leases.
Agreed at the door
What a Mountain Creek visit covers
Three rooms start at $109, and that holds while the carpet across them adds up to 450 square feet or less. Another room, an oversized living room, the hall, a flight of interior steps: all of it is added up in front of you before a machine is plugged in, so what you hear at the door is what the invoice says.
A dog in a rented unit is the addition we write up most often on this road, because odor moves through a shared wall faster than anyone expects. Pet stain and odor treatment reaches the cause itself, below the surface of the carpet, and we stand behind it with a 100% pet odor removal guarantee. The strip worn pale between the door and the kitchen gets an extra pass of its own, since that is where every trip through the unit lands.
Area rugs are cleaned inside the unit, wool and silk and Oriental alike, with nothing added for what they are woven from. Nothing gets rolled up and carried down those steps. The in-home rug cleaning page covers the rest. One line sits behind all of it: love the clean or it's free.

What Mountain Creek managers and tenants ask us
Why does a two-bedroom on this road quote as more rooms than it has bedrooms?
Because the plan is from the 1970s, and carpet went down everywhere in those years. A typical unit here has a living room, a hall, two bedrooms and carpet on the closet floors behind the doors, so the count is four rooms and a hall rather than two. The first three rooms start at $109, a fourth is typically $40 to $50, and the hall around $20 to $30. You get that whole number on paper before a single piece of equipment is plugged in.
Are carpeted closet floors cleaned with the room or priced on their own?
With the room, as long as the shoes and boxes come off the floor before we arrive. A closet is a small area and we treat it as part of the bedroom it opens into, which matters more here than almost anywhere else, because units put up along Mountain Creek Road in the 1970s and 1980s nearly all carry carpet in there. Closet floors also hold odor longer than open carpet does, since no air moves across them. If a dog has ever been shut in one, tell us at booking.
Why does the last week of the month fill up first in Mountain Creek?
Leases. Most of the doors along this road are rented, so the work is keyed to move-out dates, and that drives the bookings into the final week. Ring the office two weeks ahead of that stretch and we can keep several units together in one run, cleaned by the same technicians so every unit comes out matching. Our week runs Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, with Sunday closed.
How long does it take you to reach the bottom of the W Road?
The bottom of the W is about nine minutes from downtown Chattanooga, 4.9 road miles: north on US-27, west on Signal Mountain Road, then up Mountain Creek Road toward the foot of the ridge. That puts the whole corridor, from Signal Hills and Glendale through to Morrison Springs and Quail Hollow, inside one easy morning. Plenty of people out here give the address by a landmark rather than a number, and Hanging Rock and the W itself are the two we know best.
